The Ace Crow Duet by NYT best selling author, Shanora Williams has a hot new look! One-click this passionate, heart-stopping duet today!

Protecting London (Book 1)

Ace Crow is a very dangerous man.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s charming and irresistible, but he’s so damn smug that I really want to slap his beautiful face sometimes.

He makes me feel things I’ve never felt before, and there are moments where I feel like we could work out, but he comes with way too many downfalls, one being that he was there the night my brother was murdered.

When my life is threatened, he vouches to protect me. I allow it, but only to get answers about what happened to my brother.

But there’s one thing wrong with getting too many answers. It leads to lies, trouble, and heartbreak. Worst of all, it shoves me closer to a man I don’t trust at all.

I shouldn’t have any desire for Ace Crow. I shouldn’t crave him, daydream about him, or wish for more. And yet…when we are alone, all I want is for him to be mine.

This man is not safe, but he’s all I have ever wanted.

I must be out of my mind.

Finding London (Book 2)

ebook (1)

Three long and brutal years have passed, but I haven’t forgotten what he told me.

Ace swore he’d find me—that’d he’d do everything in his power to get back to me. Well, his word was final and true. He’s back, and he refuses to go away without me.

No one said getting me back was going to be easy, though. There are always consequences to a person’s actions—always hidden truths and betrayals.

Things aren’t so simple anymore. My life changed because I thought he was gone. Bringing him back in will only set me back, and I’m not sure I want to take that risk—not with so much on the line for me.

This isn’t like before when it was just us. What I have now is bigger than us…but even so, I still love him and no matter how many years have passed, it doesn’t make me want him any less.

The only question I have now, is being bold enough to bring him back in, or should I push him away for good and move on with this new life I had to build because of him?

Title: A Really Bad Idea by Jeannine Colette

Age Group: Adult

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Release Date: May 14, 2019

Book Description

Everyone has a best friend. Mine just happens to be Dr. Christian Gallagher— the gorgeous, green-eyed heart surgeon who wants to have a baby with me.

Yes, you read that correctly.

When my mother approached me on my thirty-third birthday with a brochure for egg freezing, it was a glaring reminder that my biological clock is ticking toward its expiration date. I’ve always dreamed of being a mom and had a plan — one that was destroyed when I caught my professional hockey player husband in bed with another woman.

Despite my broken heart I still believe in love. I want the happily ever after, but I also want a child desperately and won’t settle in order to make it happen.

That’s why when I decided to take my mother’s advice, Christian came up with his own plan: Let’s have a baby together.

It’s a bad idea. A really, really bad idea. And yet…I can’t stop thinking about how great it could be.

There’s just one condition. Before we have sex (oh, yes, we’re doing this the old fashioned way!) Christian is adamant we go on three dates.

Sounds easy, but it’s not. I thought sex would be the hard part, but the dates are only making me fall for the man I’ve known almost my entire life.

Whoever said sex doesn’t change things never went to bed with their best friend.

Title: Fauxmance
Age Group: Adult
Release Date: August 13, 2018

In this era of social media, we all pretend.

We pretend to be prettier, happier, more confident versions of ourselves, but not Ellen Grant. She takes it to a whole other level and pretends to be someone else entirely. Adopting the persona of a woman far more interesting is the only way she can break free of the socially awkward, romantically inept girl she really is.

And it’s all going swimmingly until she catches the eye of a man at her local coffee shop. Julian Fairchild has been noticing her for a while and he’s fascinated. Little does he know, the woman he thinks he’s obsessed with is a fake.

It’s not long before the jig is up, and Julian discovers Ellen’s true identity. However, he has a proposition. If she really wants to pretend, he can introduce her to a world where she can be anyone she wants. Ellen is intrigued by the prospect, and, blind to the nature of Julian’s profession as a male escort, closes her eyes and lets him lead the way.

Can Ellen keep her feelings in check while discovering a new world of thrills and excitement? And will Julian let it show that he isn’t entertaining Ellen purely out of the goodness of his heart?

Fauxmance is a standalone contemporary romance featuring characters first seen in L.H. Cosway’s Showmance.

“5+++ – Learning to Love, and be Loved Stars!”

MY GOD! This woman can write!
This book was raw, sexy, interesting, captivating, addictive, and one of my favourite read’s this year.
I knew I would like this story just from reading the synopsis, but once I started… it wasn’t too long before I was no longer just reading the story, but I felt I was apart of it.
L.H. Cosway wrote this book SO DAMN WELL that I felt as though I was at the Polka Dot Cafė watching Suze and Elodie thru Julian’s eyes. I was in Ellen’s apartment with her while she was contemplating her next move or going through the slew of emotions she was feeling about Julian or stepping out of her comfort zone.

Julian and Ellen’s characters were interesting, colourful, unique and wonderful to get to know.
Their chemistry was off the charts.
I was rooting for them from the very beginning right until the last word was written.
Julian complimented Ellen completely, and Ellen allowed Julian to see and experience the world through her innocent eyes.

I absolutely adored this book.
READ IT, I highly recommend it!

A Crack In Everything:…

A Crack in Everything

Life used to be simple.
I was a city girl with humble dreams. Then Dylan O’Dea broke into my flat, held me against the wall and told me to stay quiet.
It was like in the movies, where the universe zeros in on a single scene. I looked into his eyes and knew he was going to change me.

For Dylan, the sky was always falling. He showed me how our world is a contradiction of beauty and ugliness. How we choose to ignore the awful and gloss over it with the palatable. How you need just a tiny drop of something unsavoury to create every great scent.

Pretty deep for a pair of teenagers living in a block of council flats in inner city Dublin, right Probably. But we weren’t typical. We both had our obsessions. Mine was growing things, Dylan’s was scent. He taught me how to use my nose, and I introduced him to the magic of flowers.

I had no idea that one day he’d build an empire from what we started together. But before that, there was love and happiness, tragedy and epic heartbreak…

My name is Evelyn Flynn and I’m going to tell you about the crack in everything.

How The Light Gets In:…

How the Light Gets in

He came back to me 16 minutes and 59 seconds into Beethoven’s Symphony no. 7.

We parted amid tragedy, so it seemed poetic. Dylan O’Dea, my childhood sweetheart, had once meant everything to me. Now we were strangers, and honestly, after eleven years I never thought I’d see him again.

I lived in the world of the average, of getting paid by the hour and budgeting to make ends meet. But Dylan, he lived in the world of wealth and success. He’d achieved the great things I always suspected he would. The dissatisfaction he’d felt as a teenager had obviously been an excellent motivator.

He started a business from scratch, pioneered a brand, and created perfumes adored by women across the globe. I was just one of the people who’d been there before. Now he was living his best life in the after.

And me, well, I’d been in a dark place for a while. Slowly but surely, I was letting the light back in, but there was something missing. I was an unfinished sentence with an ellipsis at the end. And maybe, if I was brave enough to take the chance, Dylan could be my happy ending.

How the Light Gets In is Book #2 and the concluding instalment in L.H. Cosway’s Cracks duet.

My thoughts

Whenever I read an L.H. Cosway book, I know I’m going to be reading something unique and extraordinary.
Once again Ms Cosway takes her readers on a wonderful journey of two remarkable people destined for great things.
The environment they live in doesn’t encourage lavish dreams or exceptional lives, but rather a life where you’re encouraged to settle and struggle for the best.
But Dylan and Evelyn are ment to be so much more, but unfortunately tragedy strikes and their lives are changed forever.

 photo TEASER02-LHCD.jpg

Evelyn and Dylan were truly magnificent characters to read.
Their love and passion was beautiful, pure and honest.
Ms Cosway wrote these characters so well, that the reader (me) just knew and felt that these characters were destined to be together, and would never be complete without each other.
They complimented one other perfectly.

 photo LH_CD_1.jpg

The writing, characters, and story were likeable and engaging.
If your looking for something unique and smartly written, then I highly recommend this book.

My thoughts

This story absolutely slayed me!
WOW! What an intense roller-coaster ride!

I’ll start by telling you what I loved about this book: I loved Trevor and Reya’s characters.
Let me explain. I don’t know if you’ve ever met a person who shines so bright, you feel like you’re a moth being drawn to a flame. This person is charismatic, exciting, spontaneous, smart, witty, charming… but who also seems like they have a death wish. They act like their invincible and aren’t afraid to take extreme risks – if anything they thrive on it.

 photo HOF_Teaser1.jpg

This person also gives you their undivided attention when they’re with you and acts like the world revolves around you, but you feel like you can never reach the core of that person because they just don’t seem to be wired to let anyone “in”.
This is Trevor’s character.
Reya’s character is beautiful.
She loves Trevor Cross but knows nothing can come of it. She sees the effect he has on people and is in awe of him sometimes, but she also doesn’t let him get away with shit either.
She’s an extremely talented musician and a wonderful friend.
She’s smart, funny, strong, doesn’t like to be the focus of attention (unless she’s on stage performing) and when she loves – she loves with all her being.

This book is their journey, this book is their song.

 photo HOF_Teaser2.jpg

I true L.H. Cosway fashion the story is unique, interesting, and not at all what you expected when you open the first page and begin reading.
The characters attract you, the story grips you and before you know it you’re on this amazing journey.
In the end, you feel satisfied with their story and delighted you had the opportunity to go on this journey with them.

 photo HOA6.jpg

This is my favorite book this year!
I want to re-read it again because it’s one of those books that when you read it again you like it ever more.

 photo LHCHeartsonAirCover6x9_BW_MEDIUM.jpg

3 weeks. 5 cities. 15 impossible stunts. One reality show.

Trevor Cross came into Reya Cabrera’s world with a bang and faded out with a whimper.
They vowed to make it work, but life had other plans. After chasing his TV dreams for years, Trev finally became the UK’s next big reality star, but he alienated his family and friends in the process.
Now he finally has everything he ever wanted. Women. Money. Fame. But none of it means anything when he doesn’t have the one thing that matters most: love.

Money leaves a gaping hole. Fame surrounds him with loneliness. And no woman makes him feel like Reya used to before the whirlwind of success pulled them apart.
He has a plan to get her back.
However, with a hectic filming schedule looming, the only way to do that is to convince her to come on the road with him.

Reya has been stuck in a rut for a while, and the opportunity to travel across Europe and play her music for new audiences seems like heaven. The only catch? She has to do it with the one boy who ever got close enough to break her heart.
But he’s not a boy anymore, and as she gets to know him again she can’t deny her respect for the man he’s become.
Every time she’s around him her heart feels full of air, like a balloon about to pop. Little does she know, Trev’s feelings are just as tumultuous as hers.
One thing’s for sure, these three weeks on the road together will either make them whole again or break them irrevocably.

**Hearts on Air is a contemporary romance and book #6 in the Hearts series, however, it can also be read as a complete standalone.**

Age Group: Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Romantic Suspense

Book Description:

Seduce the teacher.
Meet the cousin.
Make a deal.
Steal the painting.

Andrea Anderson has no clue of the thoughts churning around in the dark and dangerous ex-con’s head as he enters her classroom. In fact, she’s momentarily lost for words. Not in her entire teaching career has she had a student who looked quite like Stu Cross.

A widow at just twenty-eight, love is something Andie hasn’t considered a part of her life for a very long time. However, when lingering touches turn to whispered words and hot, searching stares, she begins to wonder if maybe she should take a leap of faith.

But Stu is in her class for a reason, and it has nothing to do with love. He’s there to burrow his way into her life and repay a debt, otherwise, his family will suffer. Andie is the first person to show him true kindness since he left prison, and though he doesn’t want to mislead her, he doesn’t have another choice.

Before long, Stu can’t tell whether or not he’s acting anymore, and his feelings for Andie could throw all of his carefully crafted plans into complete and utter disarray.

5 “Finding a soft place to fall” Stars!

My Review:

This is the first book I’ve read that was solely authored by L.H. Cosway, and now I’m a believer!
I’ve read her co-author work with Penny Reid in their RUGBY series and I’m a HUGE fan, but this is the first time that I’ve experienced Ms. Cosway’s writing voice, style, and storytelling.

From the first page, I was engaged in the story and the unique characters.
I didn’t want to put the book down.
I loved the characters and their background. I was cheering them on right from the start and hoped that Stu wasn’t just a poser trying to take advantage of a good woman.

It is no accident that Stu is Andrea’s class.
He targeted her.
He’s on a mission, and he’ll do anything to protect the people he loves.
What Stu didn’t count on was Andrea and how she would affect him and make him second guess his motives.

 photo 4DAYS.jpg

Andrea’s character is a little more complex.
She was widowed at a young age and has basically shut herself off from the world.
Her husband was sick for a long time, and she is now financially strapped.
Her only friends are her cousin and his mate.
She throws all her energy into her job where she’s an adult education teacher.
Andrea has been in limbo until Stu arrives in her class and makes her feel things she’s never felt before.

 photo TOH2.jpg

Their relationship is complicated for Andrea because 1) She is his teacher, and she could lose her job, and 2) She doesn’t trust that a MAN like him would be interested in a GIRL like her.

What Andrea doesn’t realize is that Stu doesn’t think he’s good enough for someone as smart, talented, and kind as her. She doesn’t look at him like he’s worthless but she treats him as though he can do/be anything.

 photo TOH4.jpg

The added twists and turns to the plot were amazing and had me on the edge of my seat hoping that everything would work out for this amazing couple.

This is a wonderfully written story of loyalty and second chances, and how far someone will go to protect the ones they love.
