Review: Sunlight (Blood Magic, #4) by L.H. Cosway

Synopsis

Tegan is learning that it’s not all fun and games being in a relationship with the most powerful vampire in the city. For one thing, there seems to be a catastrophe around every corner, and for another, how can a relationship between a half-witch and an immortal actually work?

Fearing Ethan’s transformation, Finn has decided to escape the city with his friends in tow. Unfortunately, a magical barrier has been erected preventing anyone from leaving. Along the way he makes the acquaintance of a half-elf named Alora, who has just escaped her warlock kidnapper. Finn takes Alora under his wing and finds that his feelings for Tegan are fading as a new love blossoms.

In anticipation of Theodore’s next move, the group cast their prejudices aside and join forces one last time. They know that if the city is to have any chance of surviving, they must put an end to the sorcerer once and for all.

Sunlight is book #4 in L.H. Cosway’s Blood Magic Series. A previous unedited version of this story was published under the title Tegan’s Power.

Sunlight by L.H. Cosway

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“5- It’s the attraction of the soul that links two people together- Stars!”

Sunlight is the final book in the Blood Magic tetralogy.
What a wonderful conclusion to this well-written, well-developed, and well-executed series!

I loved how Ethan and Tegan’s relationship has developed.
I love that they’re now free to love and be who they were meant to be with one another.

And even with so much power at hand, Ethan’s only want – his only need is to be Tegan’s.
Tegan is also learning to control and tap into her power, and with the introduction of her grandfather, The Sorceror Roman and the proposal he offers her she could have it all…after they’ve defeated Theodore.

Once again L.H. Cosway has taken her readers on an amazing journey of adventure and love with unique, interesting, likable characters who you are cheering for right up until the very end.

I loved this series and I especially liked the twist at the end of this book that almost had me throwing my tablet across the room.
Well played L.H!

This was a wonderful story and a great series!

Review of Moonglow (Blood Magic, #2) by L.H. Cosway

Synopsis

After six months in hiding, a familiar face walks into Tegan’s new life with a proposition. A little girl has been kidnapped and she’s the only one who can help rescue her.

But there’s a catch. To rescue the girl, Tegan must return to the city she once called home and fool the vampire she’s been harboring feelings for all this time.

She must play the role of a spy, and though she’s supposed to be pretending, as soon as she lays eyes on Ethan all those feelings she tried to suppress come flooding back. Her biggest fear is him discovering the truth because then he might just end up hating her forever.

Moonglow is book #2 in L.H. Cosway’s Blood Magic Series. A previous unedited version of this story was published under the title Tegan’s Return.

Moonglow by L.H. Cosway

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was SO GOOD!
We got to get a little bit more background about this paranormal world L.H. has created, and the rules and rulers that govern it.
We also got to get to know Tegan a little better as well as Finn, Rita, and of course Ian.

The ending.
My Gawd!
I want the third book now!

Great read!
Great characters!
Great writing!

Review of Nightfall (Blood Magic, #1) by L.H. Cosway

Nightfall (Blood Magic, #1) by L.H. Cosway

Synopsis

Tegan encounters all kinds of crazies working the night shift at a 24-hour grocery store. None of them, however, have anything on the handsome stranger who comes in one night and helps her fend off an armed robber. He looks the thief directly in the eye and without confrontation convinces him to turn around and walk out the door.

Tegan has never seen anything like it, nor does she understand why he then lays those mesmerising eyes on her and tells her to forget they ever met. She shrugs it off as just another weird night shift encounter, until the following evening when her best friend produces free passes to a new club in the city. Tegan agrees to go and is pleasantly surprised by the tasteful, classy décor and oddly beautiful, intensely ethereal clientele. To her surprise, her mysterious stranger is sitting smack dab in the VIP section. What are the chances?!

Tegan is struck by the coincidence of bumping into him again so soon, while he is furious that she remembers him when he insisted she forget their meeting. Tegan has no idea that she’s taken a misstep into a whole new world inhabited by vampires, slayers, dhampirs, witches and warlocks. All of whom display a wholly disconcerting interest in what makes her unique from the rest of the clueless humans who populate the city. On top of this, her handsome stranger keeps turning up at her work and seems intent on getting to know her a whole lot better.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“4- Knights in shining armor don’t exist. There’s always a catch, Stars!”

L.H. Cosway is one of my favorite authors, and she’s one of my 1-click automatic buys.
So, when I heard she was releasing this series, I was really excited.

Nightfall is the first book in the “Blood Magic” tetrology.

Once again L.H. has created very interesting, and unique characters.
In this paranormal series, she’s created a world where Vampires, Warlocks, Witches, and shapeshifters exist but are unknown to the common folk.

This is a story of an average girl being at the wrong place at the wrong time and having the world as she knows it immediately being turned upside down.

I really enjoyed Ian and Tegan’s characters.
They are likable and engaging.
The attraction and chemistry between the two is wonderful, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

This is a good start to the series.
