I loved this story, and read it in one sitting yesterday on my day off. Loved Aurora (Oro, Roro)! She was smart, brave, kind, compassionate, and I loved watching her grow in this book to be confident, stronger, independent woman. Rhodes and Amos were just…Amazing! I loved the whole family dynamic between Sara, Billy, Rhodes, and Amos.
Wonderful story with amazing new characters, and of course, Mariana makes reference to a couple of things/people from previous books.
Tegan is learning that it’s not all fun and games being in a relationship with the most powerful vampire in the city. For one thing, there seems to be a catastrophe around every corner, and for another, how can a relationship between a half-witch and an immortal actually work?
Fearing Ethan’s transformation, Finn has decided to escape the city with his friends in tow. Unfortunately, a magical barrier has been erected preventing anyone from leaving. Along the way he makes the acquaintance of a half-elf named Alora, who has just escaped her warlock kidnapper. Finn takes Alora under his wing and finds that his feelings for Tegan are fading as a new love blossoms.
In anticipation of Theodore’s next move, the group cast their prejudices aside and join forces one last time. They know that if the city is to have any chance of surviving, they must put an end to the sorcerer once and for all.
Sunlight is book #4 in L.H. Cosway’s Blood Magic Series. A previous unedited version of this story was published under the title Tegan’s Power.
“5- It’s the attraction of the soul that links two people together- Stars!”
Sunlight is the final book in the Blood Magic tetralogy. What a wonderful conclusion to this well-written, well-developed, and well-executed series!
I loved how Ethan and Tegan’s relationship has developed. I love that they’re now free to love and be who they were meant to be with one another.
And even with so much power at hand, Ethan’s only want – his only need is to be Tegan’s. Tegan is also learning to control and tap into her power, and with the introduction of her grandfather, The Sorceror Roman and the proposal he offers her she could have it all…after they’ve defeated Theodore.
Once again L.H. Cosway has taken her readers on an amazing journey of adventure and love with unique, interesting, likable characters who you are cheering for right up until the very end.
I loved this series and I especially liked the twist at the end of this book that almost had me throwing my tablet across the room. Well played L.H!
This was a wonderful story and a great series!

Something is rotten in Tribane city. The humans are descending into madness and Tegan is certain that the sorcerer Theodore has something to do with it. Oh yeah, and she’s the reason Ethan’s been exiled by the vampires.
This would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that he’s renting the house across the street, which means she can’t escape his condemnation, nor the fact that she still has strong and intense feelings for the two-hundred-and seventy-seven-year-old vampire.
Tegan has her work cut out for her keeping those feelings in check while contending with a lust potion, a father who needs rescuing, and a vampire governor out for revenge.
Witching Hour is book #3 in L.H. Cosway’s Blood Magic Series. A previous unedited version of this story was published under the title Tegan’s Magic.
“4 – Absolute power – corrupts absolutely, Stars!”
Everyone wants control of Tribane City. The Sorcerer Theodore, The Vampire Governor Whitfield, and The Dhampir Governor Pamprock of the DOH. Some will do whatever it takes to take control even if it means driving the humans insane and having them kill themselves in order to starve the vampires, or agreeing to have their people bound to slavery. Tegan’s growing in power, but not fast enough to save herself and the ones she cares about. The city’s brewing to a breaking point, and it’s only a matter of time before it blows. Alliances will be made, and friends will become enemies. In the end, whoever’s left standing will have control.
I love the world L.H. has created, and really like how Tegan’s character has grown and become more confident and strong.

After six months in hiding, a familiar face walks into Tegan’s new life with a proposition. A little girl has been kidnapped and she’s the only one who can help rescue her.
But there’s a catch. To rescue the girl, Tegan must return to the city she once called home and fool the vampire she’s been harboring feelings for all this time.
She must play the role of a spy, and though she’s supposed to be pretending, as soon as she lays eyes on Ethan all those feelings she tried to suppress come flooding back. Her biggest fear is him discovering the truth because then he might just end up hating her forever.
Moonglow is book #2 in L.H. Cosway’s Blood Magic Series. A previous unedited version of this story was published under the title Tegan’s Return.
This was SO GOOD! We got to get a little bit more background about this paranormal world L.H. has created, and the rules and rulers that govern it. We also got to get to know Tegan a little better as well as Finn, Rita, and of course Ian.

He didn’t expect to run into Dawn again, but as soon as he lays eyes on her he’s utterly smitten. So he sets out to make up for past mistakes and prove he can be the kind of man she deserves.

“4- It takes great courage to shoot for the stars!”
There were so many things I really enjoyed about this book. 1) It was a second-chance romance. Not only did the protagonists know one another from high school, but they were both basically starting their lives fresh after being divorced.
2) I LOVED that the protagonists were in their late 40’s. They’ve lived some life. There was the fact that there were grown kids involved. An aging parent. The recent death of a parent, and illness. Real Life.
3) They also had insecurities about getting into the dating scene and/or possibly getting naked after being with the same person for so many years.
This was a wonderfully written and well-paced story. I really enjoyed meeting Dawn and Mike. Their story was great!
It was also lovely seeing some of my favorite characters from the “Knitting in the City” series.
A great start to a new series in the Penny Reid Universe.

‘Mad About Ewe’ will release wide on all retailers excluding Amazon on March 16, 2021. It will be removed from those retailers and be enrolled in Kindle Unlimited on March 18, 2021.

Weights of Wrath, an all-new surprise pregnancy romantic comedy from M.E. Carter, is LIVE EARLY on AppleBooks, Nook, Kobo, and GooglePlay!
Rosalind Palmer was blessed with the perfect stage name. Or so she’s been told. There are just a few problems with it:
1) Her family doesn’t know she’s a stripper
2) She’d like to keep it that way
3) She got over the nickname somewhere around seventh grade.
Unfortunately—because she likes her job and she really likes her independence—her unexpected pregnancy means Rosalind’s days on a pole are numbered. Even so, she’s determined to make this co-parenting thing work.
Joey Marshall never thought much about having kids until he got the text announcing his impending fatherhood. Now it’s all he can think about. But there are a few concerns:
1) He doesn’t know anything about babies.
2) Adulting usually leads to disaster.
3) It’s his best friend’s cousin he knocked up.
First things first, making sure his baby’s mama is in this for the long haul. Because now he’s got baby on the brain, he can’t wait to make this co-parenting thing into so much more.
Now all he has to do is convince Rosalind, which shouldn’t be too hard . . . right?

‘Weights of Wrath’ is a full-length contemporary romance, and can be read as a standalone. Book #4 in the Cipher Office series, Seduction in the City World, Penny Reid Book Universe.
Weights of Wrath, an all-new surprise pregnancy romantic comedy from M.E. Carter, will be available on March 11th!
I really enjoyed reading this story. Joey was a little too good to be true. (I kept asking myself throughout the book if he was for real, and then he’d let us see a little bit more of his character, and then as a reader, I realized that yes, that’s just how he’s made.) He handled becoming a dad with a surprise pregnancy with a one-night stand smoothly and effortlessly. His laid-back go-with-flow attitude really complimented Rosalind wonderfully independent, strong character. Rosalind was a wonderful character to read. Her character voiced all the concerns and fears of becoming a parent, especially when becoming a parent was such a surprise.
This was a good, well-paced story and a wonderful addition to the “Cipher Office” series.

My name is M.E. Carter and I have no idea how I ended up writing books. I’m more of a story teller (the more exaggerated the better) and I happen to know people who helped me get those stories on paper. I love reading (read almost 200 books last year), hate working out (but I do it anyway because my trainer makes me), love food (but hate what it does to my butt) and love traveling to non-touristy places most people never see. I live in Houston with my four kids, Mary, Elizabeth, Carter and Bug, who was just a twinkle in my eye when I came up with my pen name. Yeah, I’ll probably have to pay for his therapy someday for being left out.
Under Pressure, an all-new opposites-attract new adult romance from Allie Winters, is LIVE EARLY on AppleBooks, Nook, Kobo, and GooglePlay!
Mia knows stress. She’s dealt with it her whole life. So when she gets an opportunity to run a psychology study to help her get into grad school, it should be no problem dealing with the prickly guy she suddenly finds herself paired with.
The one she had a secret crush on last year. The one who refuses to let anyone close. The one she’s discovering by the day may have a softer side than he lets anyone else see…
Tyler knows stress. He’s grappled with it for as long as he can remember. And just because he has to share credit with this girl on his new psychology study doesn’t mean he has to be friends with her. Except she somehow keeps worming her way into his life. In school. In the boxing gym.
In his bed.
But everyone knows it’s safer to keep to yourself. You can’t hurt anyone that way. Even if it means giving up the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
As things heat up in the Stress Lab, will this match be able to work together without disruption, or will this growing attraction between them eventually… combust?
‘Under Pressure ‘ is a full-length new adult contemporary romance and can be read as a standalone. Book #1 in the Lessons Learned series, Educated Romance World, Penny Reid Book Universe.
Under Pressure, an all-new opposites-attract new adult romance from Allie Winters is coming on March 11th!
I really don’t want to say too much about this story because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone.
Just know that: I loved this story! I loved the characters. Mia and Tyler were amazing to read about. They were engaging and real. Tyler’s story broke my heart, but Mia ended up being absolutely perfect for him. I loved the writing. I loved the ending. …and if you subscribe to the author’s newsletter, she’s written an extra for this story that’s just divine!
This is one of my favorite reads this year. Read it! (I did in one sitting, it was so good I couldn’t put it down!)

“4- Games bring people together, and those people can become your friends, and your friends can become your chosen family.” Stars! -Maximus_Damage
This was a good enemy-to-lovers story by debut author Ann Whynot, but what was most inspiring about the story was how the author addressed the issue of mental illness particularly bipolar disorder and anxiety. It was incredible seeing things through Jonathan’s eyes. How he was feeling and how he reacted to stressful situations and realizing that having a mental illness doesn’t make you weak. Maxine was also a wonderful character to meet. It was great reading her transformation to a confident, secure, intelligent, strong woman. Her relationship with Johnathan was wonderful (once she stopped hating him).
I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more books by this author.
Ann Whynot has been writing stories since she was five, and always dreamed of one day being a published author. She is a voracious reader and book collector, and used book stores are her kryptonite. She also is passionate about video games, crafting, baking, laughing, and travel.
She lives with her family, dog, and two cats on the Canadian east coast, and is inspired by both the forest and sea.
THE REVELATION OF LIGHT AND DARK by Sawyer Bennett
From New York Times Bestselling Author Sawyer Bennett comes the Chronicles of the Stone Veil, a five book urban fantasy/paranormal romance series.
A departure from contemporary romance, the Chronicles of the Stone Veil is a return to fantasy/paranormal romance, where Sawyer started her fiction publishing journey. Readers can expect to find all the elements they love from Sawyer’s books—strong heroines, alpha heroes, and an epic romance—with a fantastical element to add to their reading experience.
About The Revelation of Light and Dark:
I always knew I was different.
From a young age, my mind has been plagued with things only I could see. Some hauntingly beautiful, others completely terrifying. Never knowing if these visions were real or just hallucinations, I learned how to lock them down and ignore them. I learned to take solace in the relative anonymity of city life and find peace in the rainy days my city of Seattle is known for.
But just when I think my life is getting on track and my dreams are achievable, a moment of weakness causes me to learn a hard and fast lesson.
My entire existence has been a lie.
Now I’m faced with a new reality that’s as implausible as it is fantastical. Filled with realms and veils, light and dark, fae and daemons, gods and angels—things I don’t understand but am forced to acknowledge. It doesn’t help that the man teaching me about my unique gifts is the gorgeously handsome Carrick Byrne, one of Seattle’s richest and most powerful men. He intimidates, annoys, and intrigues me all at the same time. I don’t trust him and yet there’s no one else to help me.
No longer certain who to put my faith in, what to believe, or how I fit into it all, one revelation is clear…
The world as I know it will never be the same again.
The Revelation of Light and Dark is book one of the Chronicles of the Stone Veil series and is best enjoyed if read in series order.
What an amazing story! I literally devoured this book in one sitting today.
I knew…KNEW that the first four three books were going to end in cliffhangers, I was warned about it when I requested the ARC, and I mentally prepared myself for it before starting this book. But man! I really want the second book, like NOW!
I love Finley and Carrick’s hate/like relationship. I love the world that Sawyer Bennett has created. Her spin of the origins of Light and Dark Fae, and Daemons and the role they play in this world is creative and wonderful. And what exactly is Finley’s purpose?
The writing, storyline, and fantastical characters are amazing.
This was a wonderful read for me, and exactly what I needed to read today. Like I said above, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, and I look forward to reading what happens next in Finley and Carrick’s adventure!

Twenty-six-year-old Gaby Barreto might be a lot of things (loyal, sarcastic, one of the guys and a pain in the butt depending on which family member you ask), but dumb isn’t one of them. When her twin brother invites her to go on tour as his band’s merch girl, she isn’t exactly screaming at the top of her lungs with joy.
With no job opportunities pounding on her door, an ex-boyfriend she would still like to castrate, and no end in sight to moving out of her parents’ house in Dallas… it would be dumb to say no to the chance of a lifetime. Two bands, three continents, one tour. Spending the next ninety-plus days with three beloved idiots and eight complete strangers shouldn’t be a big deal, right?
If only the singer of the headlining band didn’t have tattoos… a great personality… a fantastic body… and if he wasn’t so funny….
Let’s be real: Gaby never had a chance against Sacha Malykhin.
Over the past 11 months I’ve been struggling with reading. You see I work from home as a ECE and have a licenced subsidized home daycare with the Quebec Government. I’ve worked throught the whole pandemic right from the start offering childcare services to frontline essential services. At times it was really scary because at the beginning, no one knew what exactly Covid-19 was so there was the extra stress of having people (other than family) in my home.
Alas, a couple of months ago I finally felt the urge (need) to start reading again so obviously I started by re-reading my favourite comfort stories.
Rhythm, Chord & Malykhin is one of those stories. Everytime I pick up this book I’m immediately sucked into the story by it’s characters, witty banter and amazing writing. I love the protagonists with all my heart. Gaby and Sasha are, and will always be two of my favorite fictional characters. Their story just gets better with the complimary secondary characters making it a perfectly well written story.
I just completed reading and listening to it for the 6th time. The audio version of the story is also exceptional. Callie Dalton (the narrator) does an amazing job of the capturing the characters essence and delivering it to the listeners.
If you’re looking to read an amazing slow-burn, contemporary-romance I highly recommend this book.
