Seducing the Billionaire’s Brother (Seducing the Billionaire, #3) by Marquita Valentine
Librarian Faith Holt is being blackmailed by her company’s biggest competitor… with revenge porn. In order to stop the video from going viral, she must steal the infamous Montgomery Design book from the corporate library where she works. Except she discovers the copy is missing. Desperate, she enlists Connor Montgomery’s help, leading him to believe his brother – her boss – will fire her if the book is not found.
Connor Montgomery embraces the title of the black sheep of the family, fully enjoying the perks — no expectations, a jet-set lifestyle, and the women who throw themselves at him because of his last name. The only woman who doesn’t care about his black sheep title or his last name is Montgomery Industry’s sweet and shy librarian. So, when Faith asks him to help her find his father’s design book, he jumps at the opportunity to spend time with her, completely prepared to be the one doing the seducing… until his shy librarian turns the tables on him.
But when the truth comes out and Connor learns that Faith was just using him, will he be able to forgive her?
“4.5 – I’d do anything for you Stars!”
This is the third book in Marquita Valentine’s Billionaire’sseries.
It can be read as a standalone, but I think the reader would appreciate the history between Drew (Connor’s older brother) and Connor and the crazy situation Drew had with his own wife in the previous book.
This was a fun book to read.
I love the “friends to lovers” trope, it’s one of my favourites to read and Marquita did a fantastic job of writing the characters wariness of crossing “that line” when they realize that there is more to their relationship than what they first started with and how it’s grown into something beautiful and precious.
I loved that Connor and Faith had known it other since they were 12 years old and met at summer camp. It was there that they became best friends, and that their friendship endured through the years and through many trials (mostly Connor’s) to become solid and unbreakable…. even priceless.
I really enjoyed this story it was a wonderful addition to the series.
I look forward to reading London’s story (Drew and Connor’s little sister).
